Quarry Bay
Located inside the Steel River, Quarry Bay is for the smaller children and has 4,200 square feet of water surface area with a zero-depth entry to a depth of 18 inches. A special non-slip surface has been used on the pool bottom. The pool contains 33,000 gallons of water and is completely recycled every 30 minutes through its own filtration system. The pool has a four lane "chute" slide, 4 feet high and 21 feet long, located on the side of the artificial "rock" quarry. Two small waterfalls cascade from the rocks above and directly adjacent to the river cave area. Within the pool there is a scaled-down version of a dump truck complete with its own padded slide, a construction man jack-hammering "rocks" from the quarry, and a train car containing the "rocks"; all of which are shooting sprays of water into the air. At the zero-depth entry are geysers and bubblers for interactive water play. |
