Cuddly animals to take home, magic shows, face painting, rollercoasters, and cotton candy!

If it sounds like a day in the park - you're right! VisionLand presents the first annual Kid's Fest on Saturday, October 23, 1999 from 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Local organizations will provide incredible services just for kids, such as a mobile pet adoption by the Birmingham Humane Society, vision screening by Children's Hospital, free ice cream samples by Barber's, and Pepsi Instant I.D. for kids by WTTO-21. Additional events include face painting, magic shows featuring "Larry the Magician", and a talent show just for kids!
See the cool new Mercedes vehicle from The Kid One Transport, and get helpful information on kids and stress from the Crisis Center. "Steely", VisionLand's favorite dog will be around to join in the fun! Kid's can receive a $6 discount off children's admission if they donate a book.
